My first time

We are delighted that you are thinking about coming and joining us for worship.

Most people are a little apprehensive about visiting a new church. We hope that this page will help set your mind at ease about worshiping with us.

Falkirk Free Church is a growing and friendly church. We are a diverse congregation that reflects the fact that God's church is for all people. Those who attend often range in age from very young toddlers to those who have nearly seen a century pass.

Because we love receiving visitors we do our best to be excellent hosts. There will always be someone at the front door to meet you and welcome you to the service. Your presence with us enhances our worship and are honoured to have you with us. Please fill out a visitors' card so that we can get to know you better.

What should I wear?

Come in whatever you are comfortable in. You will see a variety of different outfits, from jeans and T-shirts to more formal types of dress.

Our Worship Service is a mixture of Psalms and Hymns.  Psalm books and N.I.V. Bibles are available during the service.

The main focus of our service is the preaching of The Word.  This normally involves an exposition of a passage lasting around 30 minutes.

Please feel free to stay and enjoy some fellowship. Tea/coffee and some biscuits are served after the morning and evening service. There is also a larger church lunch after the morning service. This usually takes place on the last Sunday of the month.

There is a children's address at the beginning of the morning worship service, where our minister interacts with the kids in a fun and engaging way. There is a Bible Class for all our young people during this service. A creche facility is also available for the under-threes.
